Previously, construction workers dug the left bypass tunnel using a mining method due to its proximity to existing metro facilities. In some sections, work had to be carried out manually using low-mechanization equipment, including mini-robots. These are currently used only at the Dostoyevskaya metro station.
The station's construction is one of the most complex projects in the Moscow metro. The work is taking place in the city center, a densely populated area. Furthermore, underground, there is a large influx of water and numerous utility lines.
"As of today, the overall completion of the Dostoyevskaya line, including the mine workings, is 44 percent. It will be located between the Novoslobodskaya and Prospekt Mira stations," added Sergei Sobyanin.

The project calls for two vestibules: an underground one under Durova Street at the intersection with Delegatskaya Street, and an above-ground one at the intersection of Durova Street and Olympic Avenue. The latter will be connected to the station via an underground passage with travelators.
At Dostoevskaya station, a bypass tunnel was connected to a traffic bypass chamber. The fifth vertical shaft has been completed at the Dostoevskaya station on the Circle Line.
