On March 11, the 51st Geneva International Salon of Inventions opened in Geneva, Switzerland. More than 1,000 projects from 35 countries and regions showcased innovative developments in various fields and industries. The Chinese delegation presented 237 inventive projects at the exhibition—the country's largest participation ever.

According to Guo Yan, Head of the International Department of the China Invention Association, 212 exhibition booths were prepared for Chinese participants. The exhibitors primarily included universities, research institutions, and enterprises. This year's participation was the largest in recent years, and the projects presented reflect new trends and developments in various industries. Key developments are concentrated in environmental protection, renewable energy, electronics, medicine, construction, and transportation. The number of projects in software, cybersecurity, blockchain, and the Internet of Things is particularly noticeable.

The Geneva International Salon of Inventions has been held since 1973 and is considered one of the oldest and largest events of its kind in the world. This year, the exhibition will last five days, concluding on March 15.
