Beijing, March 13 (Xinhua) — Problems in Afghan-Pakistani relations can only be resolved through dialogue and consultation, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Friday.
The use of force will only complicate the situation and exacerbate contradictions, which will not benefit either side and will create a threat to regional peace and stability, he noted.
Wang Yi, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the relevant statements during a telephone conversation with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi. The conversation took place at the initiative of the Afghan side.
