Dubai, March 13 (Xinhua) — Residents of Dubai received a warning on their mobile phones on Friday about a possible missile threat.
They were advised to immediately seek shelter in the nearest safe building and stay away from windows, doors and open spaces.
The UAE Ministry of Interior reported on social media that air defense systems were repelling the missile threat and urged the public to remain in safe locations and monitor warnings and updates.
Earlier on Friday, Dubai's press service wrote on its X page that debris left after the successful interception of the morning wave of attacks caused minor damage to the facade of a building in the city center, and there were no reports of casualties.
