In the State Darwin Museum, subordinate to the capital Department of CultureThe "Penguins" exhibit has opened. The exhibition introduces visitors to 18 species of flightless seabirds that have become record-breakers in surviving harsh conditions and diving at extreme depths.

The halls feature exhibits from the museum's natural history collections, from the largest species, the emperor penguin, to the smallest member of the family, the little penguin. Visitors can learn about the origins of these unusual birds, their anatomy, and their lifestyle: how they stay warm in icy water, how they forage and care for their young, and why penguins have become a symbol of resilience and teamwork.

In addition, visitors can see works of art by V.A. Vatagin, V.M. Gudkov, V.A. Belyshev, and images from rare books by John James Audubon, John Gould, and Friedrich Hollander.
