A round table discussion entitled "In Search of Atlantis" will be held at Library No. 3 as part of the seventh annual Zhirovsky Readings.
The event will be dedicated to the scientific legacy of Doctor of Chemical Sciences Nikolai Zhirov (1903–1970), who, in his work "Atlantis: The Main Problems of Atlantology" (1964), substantiated the creation of a new discipline—atlantology.
Scientists and researchers will present reports on the relevance of Zhirov's work, the development and disappearance of ancient civilizations, and the mysteries of world history.
Following the presentations, a discussion of the topics of the reports is planned.
