Changes have been made to the land use and development regulations for the property located at Komsomolskaya Square, Building 5, Building 2. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
"The former Moscow Railway Agency building is planned for renovation. It is located on a five-hectare plot of land. The total area of the renovated and newly constructed premises will be 18,000 square meters. This means that passengers will receive not only a beautiful building but also a truly convenient, functional space: with clear navigation, rest areas, well-designed services, and a barrier-free environment, allowing passengers with limited mobility to feel comfortable," explained Vladimir Efimov.
The building being modernized is part of the famous “station triangle” – from here you can easily transfer to the metro, bus, or tram.
"The project will provide convenient parking spaces, including specially equipped ones for people with limited mobility. This solution directly addresses the pressing needs of city residents and visitors," added the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy. Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Vladislav Ovchinsky also added that those arriving at the station by private transport will now have the opportunity to quickly, safely, and comfortably park their cars near the railway station.
