For over 12 years, the "City of Ideas" platform has been helping Muscovites bring their proposals to life. Users can share ideas on how to improve the urban environment, evaluate other participants' initiatives, and see their implementation. This makes interactions with the capital more understandable and open for residents.
Implement the proposed ideas
Muscovites can share their vision for the city's development and talk about their initiatives in the section "Suggest an idea", which accepts proposals for improving courtyards and parks, developing volunteerism and charity, promoting children's leisure activities, modernizing transportation infrastructure, creating new areas for pets, and other areas. A total of 17 areas are available to Moscow residents.
Last year, the platform implemented over 800 ideas from city residents. For example, new bus shelters appeared in Nekrasovka and Biryulyovo Vostochny. They were installed at 7 Maresyeva Street, Building 2, and 52 Lipetskaya Street.
Residents also propose ideas for developing culture and sports. For example, at the initiative of Muscovites, the "Gardens and Vegetable Gardens" project was implemented in Tagansky Park in the summer of 2025. Visitors were able to attend lectures on plants and join environmental workshops, while the Vorontsovo Estate hosted the "Harvest Day" festival, featuring folk dancing and historical reenactments.
Last year's highlight was the "Street Drive" extreme sports festival. Visitors to the venues could rent scooters and protective gear for free and participate in workshops and competitions.
Evaluate user ideas and send photo confirmation
Chapter "Evaluate the idea" Allows Moscow residents to support other users' compelling proposals submitted to the platform and approved by the relevant executive authority. The city implements initiatives that receive over 50 percent positive ratings. This allows Muscovites to directly influence how the capital will change and participate in important decision-making. The section launched in December 2025.
In the section Gallery of Implemented Ideas Users are sharing photos of their implemented proposals. The page has already published over 55,000 photos. They demonstrate that citizen participation in city development leads to tangible results and real transformations.
Every month, Muscovites are offered more than 30 ideas for photo verification. List updated depending on the season and relevance in a certain period of time.
Participants are awarded loyalty program points for evaluating ideas and publishing photo evidence. "A Million Prizes"Details can be found atlink.
The continuous operation of these three sections on the City of Ideas platform creates a unified space where residents can participate in the capital's development, become co-authors of changes in various areas of the city's life, and be inspired by the initiatives of other users.
