WASHINGTON, March 10 (Xinhua) — A police officer was injured in a "shooter incident" in Baltimore, Maryland, a city located approximately 40 miles (64 kilometers) northeast of Washington, local authorities reported on Tuesday.
The Baltimore Police Department "is on the scene of a shooter incident in the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue. An officer sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to Shock Trauma Medical Center," the department said in a statement on X's social media account.
