The Northern Lights Center will host an interactive event for children based on Sergei Prokofiev's ballet "Cinderella." Young participants will learn about music through movement, games, and immersion in a fairytale story.
The children will learn how the composer portrayed the characters, why the five fairies appear in the libretto, and what melody represents the chimes of a clock. The meeting is based on active engagement with melodies, rather than a traditional lecture.
