The Petr Jurgenson Music Library No. 17 invites you to its traditional annual concert dedicated to Lent. The first part of the event will feature the Gaudentas sacred music ensemble, conducted by Elizaveta Lazareva.
Sacred works from various eras will be performed: from ancient Gregorian and Znamenny chants to works by composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. In addition, the musicians will perform folk paraliturgical works: chants, spiritual poems, and psalms.
The second part of the concert will feature poets Andrei Galamaga and Galina Burdenko, as well as singer-songwriters Vladimir Usov, Natalia Sepfora, Alexander Boroda, and the duet "AkvaLibra."
