BEIJING, March 10 (Xinhua) — The 16th meeting of the Bureau of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held on Tuesday. It focused on preparations for the closing of the 4th session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.
The meeting was chaired by Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
The meeting reviewed and approved a number of documents, including a draft resolution on the work report of the Bureau of the CPPCC National Committee, as well as a draft political resolution of the 4th session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.
The CPPCC National Committee Bureau decided to submit these documents for consideration at the final meeting of the CPPCC National Committee to be held on March 11.
Earlier on Tuesday, Wang Huning presided over the 48th meeting of the chairman and vice chairmen of the 14th CPPCC National Committee. –0–
