Dushanbe, March 9 (Xinhua) — Tajikistan is ready to continue strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with Iran, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said Monday in a congratulatory telegram to Mojtaba Khamenei on the occasion of his election as Iran's supreme leader.
In his message, E. Rahmon expressed readiness to “further strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran” based on the principles of trust and mutual respect and for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
At the same time, he reaffirmed Dushanbe’s commitment to observing the principles of international law in interstate relations. –0–
