BEIJING, March 9 (Xinhua) — China's judicial system adheres to the principle of zero tolerance for crimes against minors, according to a work report by the Supreme People's Court (SPC) submitted to the ongoing fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) on Monday.

In 2025, a total of 40,000 cases of crimes against minors were completed, which is 1.8 percent less than the previous year, resulting in 44,000 convictions, the document says.

The Supreme People's Assembly of the People's Republic of China also noted the strengthening of measures to prevent and combat crimes committed by minors, as well as the expansion of joint efforts to protect minors. -0-
