First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov visited the Krasnogorsk Knitwear Manufactory.
The company produces hosiery and knitwear for adults and children under the Lukomorye brand. The production facility covers 4,500 square meters and is equipped with modern machinery, enabling it to produce products that meet international standards.
The company's team is predominantly female—75 employees work on the creation of high-quality Russian products.
After the start of the special military operation, the factory actively participated in the production of balaclavas and socks for our military personnel.
Denis Manturov met with the company's female employees and congratulated them on International Women's Day. The meeting focused on support for light industry enterprises, the implementation of corporate demographic programs, and competition on marketplaces.
The First Deputy Prime Minister stated that corporate programs to increase the birth rate are becoming increasingly popular and deserve support. Specifically, this includes starting maternity benefits from the moment a pregnant woman registers with a medical facility, as well as opening crèches at companies to allow mothers to return to work more quickly.
Speaking about competition with foreign sellers on marketplaces, Denis Manturov noted that supporting Russian manufacturers should remain a priority.
The meeting was attended by Ivan Kulikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government and Minister of Investment, Industry, and Science of the Moscow Region; and Denis Kravchenko, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy.
