Beijing, March 8 (Xinhua) — The "two-state solution" is the only and universally recognized solution to the Palestinian issue, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated on Sunday.
Any other plans or newly created mechanisms should contribute to this, not undermine it, Wang Yi stated at a press conference during the ongoing 4th session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC).
He stressed that the Palestinian people are not destined to live in chaos and war.
As a responsible great power, China will continue to support the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights and encourage the international community to restore justice for the Palestinians, Wang Yi noted. -0-
