Washington, March 6 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump will be the sole judge of whether Iran has effectively reached a state of unconditional surrender, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said on Friday.

"What the President means is that when he, as the commander in chief of the United States armed forces, determines that Iran no longer poses a threat to the United States of America and the objectives of Operation Epic Fury have been fully achieved, then Iran will essentially be in a position of unconditional surrender, whether they say so themselves or not," Leavitt explained to reporters.
