Tashkent, March 7 /Xinhua/ — Annual inflation in Uzbekistan amounted to 7.3 percent in February, according to a report from the country's National Statistics Committee.
According to the report, food and non-alcoholic beverages were the main contributors to the rise in inflation.
In the same period of 2025, annual inflation in Uzbekistan was 10.1 percent.
According to data, in February, the consolidated consumer price index (CPI) in Uzbekistan amounted to 100.6 percent compared to the previous month.
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan previously forecast inflation in 2026 at 6.5 percent.
