At the Kuklachev Cat Theatre, which is subordinate to the capital Department of CultureOn February 28th, the comedy performance "Swan Lake, or How the Prince Looked for a Bride, and the Cats Helped Him" took place. The performance featured the cats Holly, Vizha, and Glusha. The latter made her debut in the play after a lengthy adaptation.

"Six months ago, we took three front-line cats into our theater. These are animals rescued by our soldiers from a special military operation zone. Glusha was rescued from the village of Glushkovo. Today, one could say, is her triumph and her first appearance on stage, as she underwent a very long rehabilitation and treatment. Together with Holly and Vizha, they have become the theater's stars," said Dmitry Kuklachev, renowned animal trainer, Honored Artist of Russia, and First Deputy Artistic Director of the Kuklachev Cat Theater.

According to the plot, on the eve of the ball where the choice of his beloved was to take place, the prince went to the lake to hunt swans. There, he accidentally witnessed a white swan transform into a beautiful girl, fell in love with her, and promised to marry her. An evil sorcerer attempted to thwart his plans, but failed.

On March 7, city residents will be able to see Glusha again at the premiere of the production "I am a Clown, or Cat Construction."

The performance will be dedicated to the stars of world clowning: Charlie Chaplin, Leonid Engibarov, and Charles-Adrien Wettach. Audiences will be treated to acts featuring furry performers, and Honored Artist of Russia, director and deputy artistic director of the theater, Dmitry Kuklachev, will also appear on stage.

The performance begins at 7:00 PM. Before the show, there will be a tour of the theater's museum, which houses dozens of exhibits from around the world, gifts from celebrities, and prizes and awards from Yuri and Dmitry Kuklachev. Among other things, guests will see the crystal castle and the "fluffy apartments" where the furry performers live.
