A Russian government delegation visited KAMAZ

Alfiya Kogogina, a State Duma deputy and First Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship, chaired an off-site meeting on state support for industrial parks within the framework of programs implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

KAMAZ was visited by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatyana Ilyushnikova and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov. The delegation was met by the company's CEO Sergey Kogogin, Acting Deputy CEO – Director of Development Evgeny Makarov, Automobile Plant Director Dmitry Borodinov, and other top managers.

At the KAMAZ Visitor Center, guests learned about the company's history, key development milestones, and current achievements. Afterward, the delegation visited KIP Master, a KAMAZ subsidiary that leases production and office space. It is the first industrial park in the Republic of Tatarstan and the largest brownfield site in Russia, where the technology park concept was presented. The guests learned about the operations of the resident companies, visiting Stis-Naberezhnye Chelny LLC and Polikhim Systems LLC.

The main point of the program was a meeting on issues of state support for industrial parks within the framework of programs implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

"The industrial park infrastructure created through federal government support has created favorable conditions for the development of production facilities for over a thousand residents, who have contributed approximately 160 billion rubles in taxes to the federal budget by 2025," noted Alfia Kogogina. She also expressed gratitude to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Russian Government for their support of KAMAZ and other automotive industry companies.

The visit also included a tour of KAMAZ's most high-tech plant, the Cabin Frame Plant, and the KAMAZ-Avtosport non-profit partnership. At the end of the working day, the guests were introduced to the product lineup and tested the latest KAMAZ vehicles, including a test drive of the legendary KAMAZ-Master team's sports cars.
