BEIJING, March 5 (Xinhua) — China will deepen reform of foreign investment promotion systems and mechanisms in 2026, according to a government work report submitted to the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress on Thursday.

According to the draft of the main provisions of the 15th Five-Year Program for National Economic and Social Development /2026-2030/, which was also submitted for consideration to the 4th session of the 14th NPC, more active efforts will be made to attract and utilize foreign investment in the period 2026-2030.

The country will continuously optimize the business environment for foreign investors, improve the service and support system for them, and create new advantages for attracting foreign investment, according to the draft of the main provisions of the 15th Five-Year Program.
