JERUSALEM, March 5 (Xinhua) — Air raid sirens sounded for the second time in central Israel before dawn on Thursday.
The Israeli military has urged residents to return to shelters while air defense systems intercept a large number of missiles from Iran.
Magen David Adom, the emergency services, said there were no reports of casualties or injuries.
Sirens also sounded in northern Israel as Hezbollah militants fired shells into the area.
