TEHRAN, March 4 (Xinhua) — Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani on Wednesday said the United States will pay a "heavy price" for the assassination of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
As A. Larijani noted on the social network X, US President Donald Trump has dragged the American people into an “unjust” war with Iran.
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council added: “Now he will have to calculate: given that more than 500 American soldiers have died in the last few days alone, what still comes first for America – itself or Israel?”
