The Moscow government has decided to comprehensively develop underutilized non-residential areas in the New Moscow administrative district. Sergei Sobyanin signed the resolution on this matter.
The four redevelopment sites, totaling 40.07 hectares, are located in the Vnukovo district near the Tolstopaltsevo station of the Fourth Moscow Central Diameter, including on Sovetskaya and Mira streets. They currently house outdated facilities.
The urban development potential of the sites amounts to 174,560 square meters of real estate. The project plans to create a modern residential quarter with low-rise buildings totaling 83,520 square meters, as well as public and commercial facilities (91,040 square meters), including offices, a shopping center, a sports complex, and a milk distribution station. A park-and-ride facility with 295 spaces will also be built. The project will create approximately 1,800 new jobs.
As of March 3, 2026, the Moscow Government has approved and is implementing 187 integrated development projects covering a total area of over 1,700 hectares. These projects are planned to build over 34 million square meters of real estate, creating approximately 397,000 jobs.
