RN-Uvatneftegaz (part of the oil production complex of NK Rosneft) increased its hydrocarbon reserves by 12 million tons of oil equivalent in 2025, replenishing production by 109%.

The increase in reserves was driven by successful geological exploration and a reassessment of the resources of existing fields. The reserves of the new Yuzhno-Keumskoye oil field have been added to the state register.

In 2025, RN-Uvatneftegaz constructed five exploration wells, producing commercial oil flows at rates of up to 19 m³/day. The exploration drilling success rate was 100%. The company's geologists have maintained this level for the third consecutive year.

Seismic data processing and interpretation have been completed at the Yuzhno-Kamelyagskaya, Vostochno-Gerasimovskaya, Uspeshnaya, and Yelovaya sites. Based on the information obtained, a detailed geological model has been developed assessing the resource potential of these areas and identifying promising targets for exploration drilling. The model also helps minimize risks during geological work.

The company's reserves, which were added in 2025, will be put into development in the short term. RN-Uvatneftegaz is developing the fields using horizontal and directional hydraulically fractured wells, which significantly increase flow rates and oil recovery.

Plans for 2026 also include ensuring that hydrocarbon reserves are replenished to over 100% of production. The resources of the Pikhtov license area, where an active program of exploratory well testing is planned for this year, should become a new growth driver.
