KAMAZ plants and divisions are currently hosting celebrations dedicated to International Women's Day (March 8). The highlight was a festive concert held on March 3 at the Organ Hall in Naberezhnye Chelny.
That evening, the company's female employees were congratulated on International Women's Day by State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina, First Deputy General Director of PJSC KAMAZ and Executive Director Irek Gumerov, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Ildar Shamilov, and Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Farid Salakhov.
State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina conveyed to the KAMAZ women words of gratitude for their work and patriotism from State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and words of appreciation for their support from the Special Military Forces. "It is thanks to your work and your courage that the Russian economy has withstood and thrived under the pressure of more than 30,000 sanctions. A KAMAZ woman is not only a hard worker and creator; she is also a source of love, warmth, and care. I know that many of you, after work, organize humanitarian aid shipments—knitting camouflage nets, writing letters, and assembling packages for our soldiers currently on the front lines. I recently delivered another humanitarian shipment to them, and I extend my sincere thanks to you! They know that you are a reliable support for our men!" Alfiya Kogogina remarked, wishing the women many more reasons to be happy and joyful.
In turn, Irek Gumerov, addressing the female employees of KAMAZ, expressed gratitude for their professionalism and responsibility, emphasizing that today women are successfully realizing their potential in all areas of the auto giant's activities.
As per tradition, an awards ceremony for outstanding female employees of the company was held as part of the gala evening. This year, a total of 390 women were awarded Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from KAMAZ PJSC, as well as municipal, republican, and federal awards.
The festival's musical program included performances by the Tatarstan Dance Ensemble, the Premier Vocal Group, soloist Liliya Murtazina, and a creative group of KAMAZ employees. A true treat for the audience was the appearance on stage by People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Filyus Kagirov, who performed accompanied by the Miras instrumental ensemble.
