The greenhouses will also feature double, fringed, multi-flowered, green-flowered, lily-flowered, and parrot tulips. Visitors will also see triandrus, large-crowned, split-crown, and double daffodils, as well as Armenian, racemose, broadleaf, crested, and azure muscari.
For the exhibition, specialists select the bulbs and plant them in containers with a mixture of river sand and peat. The containers are then placed in a refrigerator, where they are stored for four months at a temperature of -5°C (-5°F). Three weeks before the expected flowering, the bulbs are removed and placed in a special room where the temperature is maintained at -5°C (-5°F). When the plants begin to bloom, they are exposed to daylight and the temperature is raised to +18°C (-64°F).
The greenhouses also offer "Flowers for Your Beloved" tours. Visitors will learn about the work of agronomists, the history of plants, and how new flower varieties are developed.
A program called "Magic Garden" from the "Music in Flowers" series has been prepared for children. Participants will create a primrose from decorative materials, learn about the melodies of Maurice Ravel, and discover the flowers and fairy tales associated with his musical compositions.
