Sports for people with disabilities and special needs continue to thrive in Moscow. From March 2nd to 8th, they can participate in free darts, bocce, zhulbak, and table tennis competitions. Advance registration is required on the day of the event.

The Gambit Sports Complex on Vesennaya Street (Building 4) will host a district darts competition on March 5 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Adult men and women with musculoskeletal disabilities are welcome to participate. Participants must bring an identity document, a compulsory health insurance policy, a medical and social examination certificate, or other supporting documentation.

The individual tournaments will feature the "Big Round" and "Points Score" games. In the former, participants must successively hit target sectors from 1 to 20, then the center, to score the maximum number of points. Three attempts are allowed for each target type. In the latter game, participants earn points by hitting the highest-value sectors in a set number of rounds, throwing three darts at a time.

The Zelenograd Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled (Building 309) will host district competitions in boccia, darts, zhulbak, and table tennis on March 6 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, in celebration of International Women's Day. Residents of the capital, ages six and up, are welcome to participate. Registration requires identification, a medical and social expertise (MSE) certificate, and certificate form No. 1144-n.

Individual tournaments will be held in all these sports, with the winners in each event determined by the highest number of points scored. The table tennis tournament will be a round-robin.

The events are being implemented Moscow City Sports Department and are in line with the goals of the Russian Federation's state programs "Development of Physical Culture and Sports" and "Sport of Russia." One of the goals is to increase the proportion of citizens regularly involved in physical culture and sports to 70 percent by 2030. In the capital, special attention is being paid to the accessibility of infrastructure, support for families with children, and the integration of participants and veterans of special military operations and their families into the sports community.
