Construction of another building under the renovation program has begun in the Golovinsky District. This was announced by the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy. Vladislav Ovchinsky.
"Golovinsky District leads all districts in the Northern Administrative District in terms of the number of buildings included in the current renovation program. Construction has begun on a new building at Avangardnaya Street, plot No. 12 (zone 4.1). The building will have a total floor area of almost 35,000 square meters. It will house 340 apartments, eight of which are accessible. The living space will exceed 18,000 square meters," said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
The apartments will feature improved finishing in accordance with program standards, and the loggias will be glazed—the homes will be ready for occupancy. The building will be equipped with modern utility systems and connected to an individual heating station, which will provide year-round heat and water. More than 400 such stations are already installed in the capital.
The ground, non-residential floor will house shops, order pickup points, and other amenities. The project also includes a concierge room and a stroller room.
"The Moscow City Committee for State Construction Supervision (Mosgosstroynadzor) has issued a permit for the construction of a building under the renovation program on a land plot of over 0.5 hectares. The entire construction process of the residential building will be overseen by the committee. The developer has already submitted a notice of commencement, after which inspectors have drawn up a program of monitoring and oversight activities. The first on-site inspection is scheduled for the first quarter of this year," noted the Chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It affects approximately one million Muscovites and provides for the relocation of 5,176 buildings.
