On March 2, Russia celebrated Mentor Day for the first time – a professional holiday established by a Decree of the President of Russia to promote and develop the institution of mentoring.

The mentoring system at Rosneft is a key element in the transfer and development of accumulated professional knowledge and skills from more experienced employees to new workers and young specialists.

The corporate mentoring institute includes working with young professionals and workers, developing competencies and supporting mentors, and mentors' participation in corporate, industry, and international competitions and professional excellence championships.

Rosneft's mentoring system spans over 100 subsidiaries. In 2025, the number of mentors exceeded 13,800, and the number of mentees exceeded 15,500.

To enhance the prestige of the mentoring role and identify the most effective practices in this area, the Company holds an annual "Best Mentor" competition. Based on its results, the best mentors and companies—leaders in the integrated mentoring effectiveness rating—are identified. More than 3,000 people annually improve and hone their skills through these events.

Rosneft's masters have achieved numerous victories and prizes in national competitions, including "Best Mentoring Practices" and "Breakthrough Technologies for Improving Labor Productivity," as well as their regional stages.
