Ashgabat, March 2 (Xinhua) — Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry on Monday expressed concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
"It is regrettable that the escalation occurred against the backdrop of diplomatic efforts to resolve the situation in the region," the department's official website noted.
“Turkmenistan, which enjoys a status of permanent neutrality recognized by the UN, reiterates that the resolution of all complex international issues must be carried out on the basis of the UN Charter and international law, using only political and diplomatic means and methods,” the Turkmen Foreign Ministry emphasized. –0–
