BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) — China is willing to work with the international community to make active efforts to promote peace and prevent war, resolve issues through dialogue and negotiations, so as to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and the world, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said Monday.
Responding to a question about the US and Israeli strikes on Iran, Mao Ning said at a daily departmental press conference that China is deeply concerned about the current situation and firmly opposes the use of force in international relations, which violates the sovereignty and security of other countries.
