Bishkek, February 28 /Xinhua/ — Kyrgyzstan calls for all possible measures to resolve the situation in the Middle East "exclusively by peaceful means," according to a statement published Saturday on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Kyrgyzstan expresses serious concern over the escalation of tensions in the region, the statement said.
Kyrgyzstan calls on the parties to exercise maximum restraint, immediately cease hostilities, and take all possible measures to quickly return to constructive dialogue to resolve the situation exclusively by peaceful means, the department emphasized in its statement.
