Kyiv, February 28 (Xinhua) — The time and place of the next meeting between the Ukrainian, US, and Russian teams will be determined based on the security situation and realistic diplomatic opportunities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday.
"Depending on the security situation and actual diplomatic opportunities, the time and place of the next meeting between our team and the United States of America—a meeting with the Russians—will be determined," Zelensky said in a video address.
He said he had already outlined updated directives for the negotiating team and Ukraine's diplomatic team as a whole. "We need peace—real peace and real opportunities for people to live freely, to live in security," he added.
On February 26, V. Zelenskyy stated that the next meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia would most likely take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in early March. –0–
