Almaty, February 26 (Xinhua) — The Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system will transport 70.52 million tons of oil by 2025, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) press service reported on Thursday.

Of these, 36.6 million tons were sent from the Tengiz field, 9.2 million tons from the Karachaganak field, and 17 million tons from Kashagan, the company stated.

In 2024, over 63 million tons of oil passed through the CPC Kropotkinskaya pumping station, approximately 90 percent of which came from Kazakhstan.

The 1,511-kilometer Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline connects oil fields in western Kazakhstan and Russian offshore fields in the Caspian Sea with the CPC marine terminal in Novorossiysk. It is the main export route for Kazakh oil.
