Cairo, February 25 (Xinhua) — Three Egyptian migrants were killed and 18 others are missing after a wooden boat carrying dozens of illegal migrants capsized in waters south of Crete, Greece's largest island, on the morning of February 21. Egyptian authorities confirmed the incident on Wednesday.
Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration said in a statement that it had intensified contacts with Greek authorities to continue efforts to search for missing persons and return the bodies of the deceased to Egypt.
