BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) — The annual Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum) will be held in Beijing from March 25 to 29, organizers said.
The main theme of Zhongguancun 2026 will be "Deepening Integration of Technological and Industrial Innovation." Key events include an opening ceremony and plenary session, parallel forums, a presentation of significant achievements, the Zhongguancun International Technology Fair, and the final round of the International Advanced Technological Innovation Competition. Side events covering popular science topics are also planned.
The organizers of the upcoming forum are the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the All-China Society for Science and Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Government.
Established in 2007 with the theme of “Innovation and Development,” the Zhongguancun Forum has evolved over the years into a global, comprehensive, open, and high-level international event aimed at promoting global innovation in science and technology.
