Moscow, February 25 (Xinhua) — Seven people were killed in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Dorogobuzh nitrogen fertilizer production plant in Russia's Smolensk region, the Russian Investigative Committee reported.
"As a result of the detonation of explosive devices, civilians were injured, of whom seven were killed and at least 10 were injured," the department said in a statement.
"The Smolensk Region government will provide all necessary assistance to the families of the victims and the deceased," regional governor Vasily Anokhin announced on his Telegram channel.
According to investigators, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Dorogobuzh enterprise with at least 30 drones. A criminal case has been opened for the terrorist attack.
