BEIJING, February 25 (Xinhua) — The 62nd meeting of the chairman and vice chairmen of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) of China was held on Wednesday. A number of reports were presented.
The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee Zhao Leji.
Senior legislators heard a report on the draft agenda, the draft list of members of the presidium and the head of the secretariat, and the draft list of delegates with an advisory vote for the 4th session of the 14th NPC.
In addition, reports were heard on the powers of individual deputies and on draft decisions on personnel issues.
At the meeting, it was decided to submit the above-mentioned projects for consideration by the ongoing 21st session of the Standing Committee of the 14th NPC. –0–
