KATHMANDU, February 23 (Xinhua) — Nineteen people were killed and 25 injured early Monday morning when a passenger bus traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu skidded off a highway and plunged into the Trishuli River in Dhading district in central Nepal, local authorities said.
One Chinese citizen was among the dead. Another Chinese citizen was injured and is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital. This information was confirmed by the Chinese Embassy in Nepal.
