Moscow, February 23 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russians on Defender of the Fatherland Day on Monday.
In a video address, Vladimir Putin stated that the development of the nuclear triad, which serves as a guarantee of Russia's security and effectively ensures strategic deterrence and the balance of power in the world, remains an absolute priority.
According to him, Russia will continue to build up the potential of all other branches and services of the armed forces, increasing their combat readiness, mobility, and ability to operate in any, even the most difficult, conditions, and also increasing the pace of development of advanced systems for the armed forces.
