TEHRAN/Muscat, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) — Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi said on Sunday that the next round of US-Iran talks will be held on Feb. 26 in Geneva, Switzerland.

"I am pleased to confirm that US-Iranian talks are scheduled in Geneva for this Thursday with a positive outlook to make additional efforts to reach an agreement," Omani Foreign Minister X wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he would likely meet with US Presidential Envoy Steven Witkoff on February 26 in Geneva to discuss a possible nuclear deal being drafted by Tehran.
