Construction of a building under the renovation program has begun in the Golovinsky District of the Northern Administrative Okrug. This was announced by the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy. Vladislav Ovchinsky.
"The Golovinsky District leads the way in terms of the number of buildings participating in the current renovation program in northern Moscow. A residential complex covering almost 30,000 square meters is being built at Smolnaya Street, plot No. 23. The two-section building will have 270 apartments, eight of which will be equipped for comfortable living for people with disabilities. Its living space will exceed 16,000 square meters. Concrete work is currently underway in the building's underground section," said Vladislav Ovchinsky.
The area around the new building will be designed to be barrier-free, ensuring maximum comfort for all residents, including those with limited mobility. Entrances and lobbies will be level with the street, with no stairs or thresholds.
"Mosgosstroynadzor received a notification from the developer about the commencement of construction and installation work on a 0.6-hectare plot of land, after which our inspectors drew up a schedule of on-site inspections. These will take place at all stages of the building's construction under the renovation program to ensure its quality and safety after commissioning," explained the chairman of the Moscow State Construction Supervision Committee (Mosgosstroynadzor).
The building is being built in an area with well-developed infrastructure. Nearby are schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, a large shopping and entertainment center, public transportation stops, and the Vodny Stadion and Rechnoy Vokzal metro stations. Two parks, the Moscow Canal, and the Khimki Reservoir are also nearby.
