During the holiday weekend from February 21st to 23rd, some social institutions in the capital will switch to special operating hours. This was reported by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.
"We've made every effort to make social services' opening hours as convenient as possible during the holiday weekend, so Muscovites can still receive the care and support they need. Clinics will be open for patients all three days, including February 23, with reduced hours, but with on-call doctors on duty. "My Documents" government services centers will be closed for only one day, and will return to their normal schedule on February 24. Of course, emergency services and psychological support lines will remain available 24/7," said Anastasia Rakova.
Healthcare institutions
On February 21, adult clinics in the capital will be open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On February 22 and 23, they will switch to reduced hours—from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On-call physicians will be available during these hours on all these days.
On February 21, children's clinics will be accepting patients from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Doctors on duty will be available all three days of the holiday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A doctor can be called to your child's home daily during the same hours.
Trauma departments will operate daily according to the approved schedule: from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, or 24 hours a day. Milk distribution stations will remain open from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Women's health centers and women's clinics will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on February 21, and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on February 22. On Sunday, February 23, only women's clinics will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. consultations, serving 10 or more sites.
Educational institutions
February 23 is a day off for schoolchildren and college students. The hours of operation of supplementary education centers can be found on their websites.
Social welfare institutions, civil registry offices, and government service centers
On February 23, My Documents government service centers will be closed to visitors. On other days, they will operate according to their regular schedule: district offices from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, flagship offices and the Palace of Government Services at VDNKh from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Reception hours for agency staff at these centers are subject to change.
On February 21 and 22, Moscow's wedding palaces will operate as usual. The exception is Wedding Palaces No. 1 and 4, which will have a shortened pre-holiday day on February 22.
On February 23, all wedding palaces of the Moscow Civil Registry Office will be closed. On Monday, February 24, all wedding palaces except No. 1 and No. 4 will be closed. The Archives and Information Department will be closed for the three days from February 21 to 23.
Civil Registry Offices at the My Documents government services centers will operate according to the centers' own hours. Civil Registry Offices in the Savelki and Troitsk districts will be closed from February 22 to 24.
Starting February 25, all Moscow Civil Registry Office offices will return to their normal operating hours. Marriage registration applications can be submitted online during the holidays through the government services portal or at mos.ru.
Moscow Longevity Centers will be closed on February 23rd. The remaining hours will remain the same: only flagship centers will be open on Sundays, and all other centers will be open on Saturdays. Additionally, the "Professions of the Future" center, the "My Career" and "My Work" employment centers, and the "Professional" training center will be closed on February 23rd.
Moscow's family centers will be closed on February 23. However, residents can still call for emergency assistance if needed. Children can call 24-hour psychological support at 051 (from a landline) or 7 495 051 (from a mobile phone). These numbers also provide 24-hour psychological support for all Muscovites.
On February 23, rehabilitation and rehabilitation-educational centers in the capital will be closed. However, the E.P. Glinka Social Adaptation Center will continue to operate as usual. State veterinary clinics
During the holidays from February 21 to 23, the operating hours of several state veterinary clinics under the jurisdiction of the State Budgetary Institution "Mosvetoedinenie" will change.
Thus, on February 23, the Pervomaysky veterinary station (Sireny Boulevard, building 8a), the Solntsevsky veterinary station (Borovskoye Shosse, building 48), the Klenovo veterinary station (Klenovo village, Tsentralnaya Street, property 11), the Ptichnoye veterinary station (Ankudinovo village, property 43), the Salaryevo veterinary station (Salaryevo village, Kartmazovskaya Street, building 46b), and the Shcherbinka veterinary station (Teatralnaya Street, building 14) will be closed.
The Nizhny Novgorod veterinary station (Staroobryadcheskaya Street, Building 30b) will be closed for all three days.
The remaining state-run veterinary clinics will continue to operate as usual (for most, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM).
