Munich, Germany, February 14, Xinhua — Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, called on China and Germany to strengthen strategic ties and jointly oppose unilateralism and bloc confrontation.
Wang Yi made this call during talks with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
Both sides must firmly uphold the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, replace the law of the jungle with global governance, and jointly act as a stabilizing force in a troubled world, the Foreign Minister said.
