Washington, February 13 (Xinhua) — Two people were killed and one wounded in a shooting that occurred Thursday evening at South Carolina State University in the United States, American media reported.
The campus was placed on lockdown around 9:15 pm local time /2:15 am GMT/ after reports of gunfire, and the lockdown was still in place several hours later.
The identities of the victims and the condition of the injured person have not yet been confirmed, the university said in a press release Thursday evening.
The university canceled Friday classes. There is no information yet on the whereabouts of the suspect or suspects. –0–
