Dushanbe, February 11 /Xinhua/ — In 2025, Tajikistan's economy attracted $6.9253 billion in foreign investment, an increase of $1.7986 billion, or 35.1 percent, compared to 2024, the Khovar news agency reported on Wednesday, citing data presented at a press conference by government economic officials.

According to the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of Tajikistan, $3.031 billion, or 43.8 percent, of the total investment funds attracted came from the Commonwealth of Independent States, an increase of 54.4 percent compared to the previous year. Investments from non-CIS countries totaled $3.8943 billion, or 56.2 percent, an increase of 23.1 percent.

Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurakhmon Abdurakhmonzoda, reported that as of the end of 2025, 82 investment projects totaling $4.7 billion had been implemented in the country across various economic sectors. Of these, 55 projects were financed through grants, five through loans, and 22 through loan-grant co-financing.
