The Spring Festival—the Year of the Horse—is approaching. Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese equine culture, the Tianjin Zhang Clay Figurines studio has created a series of painted clay sculptures, "Bingwu Brings Prosperity," based on the natural forms of horses. (Bingwu is the 43rd year of the 60-year cycle, the Year of the Horse.)
Some of the works will reportedly be featured as a key component of a themed exhibition dedicated to the Year of the Horse at the Tianjin Museum and will be on display free of charge to the public during the Spring Festival.
