Minsk, February 10 /Xinhua/ — The Great Stone Industrial Park plans to attract approximately 100 new residents by 2030. This was announced on Tuesday by Tatyana Kharlap, head of the Great Stone Industrial Park administration. The Belta news agency published the information on the same day.
On Tuesday, T. Kharlap was officially introduced to the industrial park administration by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov. During the ceremony, she noted that the tasks assigned to her in her new position are consistent with the project's status. According to her, the Great Stone Industrial Park occupies a central place in Belarusian-Chinese relations.
She also reported that Great Stone currently has over 170 residents. Several new companies have already been registered in 2026. According to the park's development strategy, the number of residents is planned to increase to 270 over the next five years. "This is almost an additional 100 new residents to those currently in operation," explained the head of the Great Stone administration.
Furthermore, T. Kharlap reported that amendments to the Belarusian decree on the operating conditions of the industrial park, improving its operations, are expected to be issued in 2026. The specific timeframe depends on detailed discussions with stakeholders.
