BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping visited grassroots cadres and local residents in Beijing during a two-day inspection tour of the Chinese capital from Monday to Tuesday, extending Spring Festival greetings to all Chinese people at home and abroad ahead of the holiday.

Xi Jinping, who is also the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, wished them good health, success in their careers, and family happiness. He also wished the country peace and prosperity in the Year of the Horse.
